biography of Abdul Sattar edhi.

1. Abdul Sattar divas founder of Eid foundation which is one of the biggest non profit social welfare organisation in Pakistan.

2. He was born in 1928 in Bandra small town of Gujarat state India.

3. It was dropped out of his school in 4th grade and started  assisting his mother in her social community work.

4. In very early age his mother infused him with the motivational helping needy people.

5. She would give him two pesas daily 1 Paisa for his meal and one other to give the needy person then the others day she would enquiry him about how he spend the money.

6. Right after the partition in 1947 easy and his family migrated to Pakistan and he LED in Karachi.

7. In 1948 he started working in a charity bill set up called part 1 memon dispensary.

8. At the dispensary he observed the needy people are beings discrimted their treatment.

9. He tried to convince the dispensary management to eliminate this discrimination but found no result.

 he quite working for this dispensary.

10. In 1951 he founded the memon voluntary corpse his own Charitable set up in meth dar Karachi.

11 this setup was the foundation stone of the easy foundation.

12. In 1956 Edhi decided to visit some Western countries by bus he drove through Iran Turkey ,Greece, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia.

13. Through his travel he learnt new and efficient way to manage and expand his charitable service.

14. In 1957 from the donation of memon businessman he purchased an old van and used it is as an ambulance on both side of the vehicle .he  inscribed  the words poor man van.

15. Edhi marriage to bilqees Banu in 1966.

16. Eid he also established a welfare turst which was later  renamed as the

"Bilqees Edhi Turst".

17. Edhi single hand badly change the way of doing welfare in Pakistan .

18. Edhi spent an  ascetic life he is also known as the richest poor man.

19. In recognition of his humanitosim welfare services edhi received more than 250 National and international awards .

20. Till his death Edhi served the foundation ats head he died on 8th July 2016.
